Cyber bullying on students

Hey guys this is Leep8033 and this post is going to be about how the internet has brought about cyber bullying and isn't that user friendly as you may believe. So cyber bullying is not your normal playground bully. Cyber bullying is mainly done through technology but mostly over the internet. It is when a person (cyber bully) intentionally causes mental and emotional harm to the victim and this is what cyber bullying is essentially about. I want to bring the attention of cyberbullying on school children where it is that age group, cyberbullying has the most impact on.

Cyberbullying isn't a small thing and should be taken very seriously as it can have very large impacts on individual lives in many different aspects.
There are many affects of cyber bullying and i want to simply state them so i can spread the awareness of what cyberbullying can potentially do:
Victims have a higher risk of anxiety and depression that can possibly lead to adulthood. these also include factors such as increased feelings of sadness and loneliness, physical changing of habits such as eating and sleeping pattern and also loss of interest in daily activities.
Also one of the very dangerous symptoms include suicide, which is a huge problem as it has been making the headlines of news within the recent times. In studies, it was shown that within adulthood, the adult who was bullied had the thoughts of suicide that the average person.
For students, many kids who get cyberbullied tend to hide this from their friends, peers and adults. And because they are in such a delicate stage in their age, they are more sensitive to their emotions and can have drastic impacts on their lives.
Grades could drop, children could become inverted and shy away from social gatherings. They find that everything is bleak and have a more negative look on life. Cyberbullying also leads to self-harm where the victim would physically harm themselves to escape their emotional pain. students would skip or drop out of school more regularly and also would lower their self-esteem making them pursue other reliefs from reality such as drugs and alcohol.

All in all, cyber-bullying can cause major impacts on children especially when it starts out at such a young age where it can have more serious affects in the long run. There should be no excuse for cyberbullying EVER. No one deserves what they recieve, just think what it would be like if YOU were in THEIR shoes. Please spread the awareness and stop cyberbullying among young students!
